This year's Pride panel discusses Getting to the Root of the Problem: asking the question how did homophobia take root in our culture, and how do we begin to pull it out?
This honest panel explores the forces that shaped attitudes toward LGBTQ+ people across the Caribbean, from slavery and colonisation to religion and diaspora. By understanding where we've come from, we can begin to shape a more inclusive future built on truth, dialogue, and shared progress.
OUTBermuda is Bermuda's only LGBTQ+ charity. In addition to organizing Bermuda Pride, OUTBermuda provides year-round support through advocacy, subsidized counseling services, a dedicated LGBTQ+ youth group, and financial assistance for education and training opportunities.
