Good Friday Kite Festival

Get your tissue paper and sticks ready! After nine long years, one of our most beloved Easter traditions returns to the sands of Horseshoe Bay. Whether you're a master kite-builder or just love the sound of a "hummer" in the breeze, this is the place to be!

The Kite Warriors will be judging this year's competition, featuring several categories:

• School Division: Primary, Middle, and High School levels.
• Corporate Division: Who has the best branded kite that represents their role in our community?
• Open Division: Awards for the Smallest, Largest, and Best Overall kites!

No registration is required, just show up with your best creation.

More than just kites, it's a full day of Bermudian culture. Come for the kites, stay for the:

•  Fishcake Competition: Judged by the "Codfish King" Dale Butler and Chef Rodney Smith. (Flavour, texture, and authenticity are key!)
•  Traditional Games: Marbles, jacks, chess, and an epic tug-o-war.
•  Live Music & Food Stalls: Plenty of local treats to keep you fueled.

Perfect for families and visitors alike, this festive gathering offers an authentic taste of Bermuda's Easter celebrations in a spectacular beachside setting.
