BTA’s Kiira Grant Earns Prestigious Global Recognition as One of 30 Future Leaders in Destination Marketing

The Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) is proud to announce that Kiira Grant has been named to Destinations International’s “30 Under 30 Class of 2025”, a prestigious program recognising the next generation of talent in the destination marketing and tourism industry. Each year, 30 individuals under the age of 30 are selected through a competitive process for a year-long industry education and networking opportunity. This year’s honorees represent 30 destinations across four countries, selected from a highly competitive pool of 91 applicants.

As the largest and most respected association of destination organisations, Destinations International represents over 9,500 members and partners from more than 750 destinations worldwide, including convention and visitors' bureaus (CVBs) and tourism boards.

Kiira Grant, a 25-year-old Bermudian and Tourism Standards & Training Specialist at the BTA, expressed her excitement about this recognition: " I am incredibly honoured to be recognised by such a distinguished organisation so early in my career in tourism. This achievement is a testament to the steadfast support and encouragement I’ve received from the leadership at the BTA. As a young professional, I hope my journey inspires other young Bermudians by showing that remarkable milestones in this field are within reach. I am committed to using my knowledge and experiences to advocate for others and support their career growth. I am especially excited to connect with my peers in the 2025 class, gain invaluable industry insights, and fully embrace the professional development opportunities this recognition offers throughout the year."

Tracy Berkeley, CEO of the Bermuda Tourism Authority, celebrated Kiira’s recognition, emphasising the importance of investing in young leaders: "Our Tourism Standards & Training team, led by dedicated professionals, is shaping the future of Bermuda’s tourism industry by nurturing young talent and fostering growth. The future of Bermuda’s tourism sector is bright, and with emerging leaders like Kiira, backed by a committed and talented team, I know we’re in very good hands."
