Show Your Cup Match Colours at Made in Bermuda Nights
Cup Match celebrations begin early at this week’s Made in Bermuda Nights on White’s Island.
Thursday’s ticketholders are asked to wear their Cup Match colours as a way to show visitors how we celebrate our cultural traditions out here. That means fans of St. George’s should wear dark blue and light blue, while Somerset supporters don red and blue. Visitors should also be encouraged to join in on the “show your colours” theme. This Thursday is the first theme week, now a feature of the weekly Made in Bermuda Nights series through August 30th.
“The feedback on Made in Bermuda Nights has been stellar thus far and having themes like this adds to the fun and festive atmosphere for locals and visitors,” said Pat Phillip-Fairn, chief product and experiences development officer at the Bermuda Tourism Authority.
Beginning with the Cup Match east versus west theme on Thursday, July 26th, weekly themes will include:
August 9 – Bermuda Glow Night - Light up the City (glow accessories distributed at White’s Island)
August 16 – Wear “Bermuda” (wear something stamped Bermuda or Bermuda-inspired)
August 23 – Bermuda pink night (wear something pink)
August 30 – Made in Bermuda Nights Finale
