About The Living Loom Art Installation Opening
On Saturday, March 8, Masterworks Museum invites you to immerse yourself in "The Living Loom," a hands-on, interactive fibre and material arts installation in the Butterfield Gallery! Weave, paint, embroider, and explore colour in a playful, ever-evolving space.
Join us for the opening day, Saturday, March 8, for a free natural dyeing workshop with Jordan Carey & Kimberley Fisher. Bring your own natural textiles, such as cotton, wool, silk, and linen to dye or practice with the yardage provided!
The workshop space is open from 10am - 1pm. Visitors can come and go as they please, but an RSVP through the Masterworks website is required to ensure enough material is provided.
The installation will be open and free to the public from March 8 to April 12, 2025.
This installation and free admission to the Museum are made possible thanks to the generous support of Butterfield.
"The Living Loom" is designed and installed by Masterworks Education Officer Kimberley Fisher.
