Terryn Fray is Club Captain of Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club and Club Captain of Somerset Cricket Club for Cup Match 2024! One of Bermuda’s leaders in the sport told us about the history of Cup Match on the island and its deep roots in emancipation. But our cricket culture doesn’t end at Cup Match — the County Games are another “one-stop shop’ for visitors to get a deeper understanding of our heritage on the island.

Meet Kisha Tyrrell, owner of Enzuri Beauty. Her passion for taking care of her own skin led her to create her very own skincare brand, specialising in skincare for women who are 40+. Her carefully curated line of products are created with Bermuda-inspired ingredients you can find across the island like aloe, hibiscus flowers, and salt water, so you can get that Bermuda glow wherever you go.

Say hello to Barbara Finsness, Chief Designer of The Island Shop. This locally-owned business opened 20 years ago with the original purpose of providing Barbara and her family with their bread and butter, and continues to stand two decades later. The beauty of Bermuda is what inspires her. The beaches, flowers, colourful landscape, Bermudian-made architecture; it’s all translated in her impressive artwork of island-inspired designs handprinted on ceramic, linens and more.

Introducing Sam Bennett: Instructor, Trainer and Owner of Eco-Dive. Sam starting diving 18 years ago here in Bermuda, discovering his love for exploring the world beneath the surface. He finds diving in Bermuda unique as its home to the northernmost reef system in the Atlantic, providing us with an amazing underwater eco-system for divers of all skill levels to explore. He’s passionate about sustainable travel and protecting our environment to ensure Bermuda and our surrounding waters can be enjoyed for years to come.

Originally from Bermuda's Hamilton Parish, his impressive background embodies perseverance and excellence. He boasts six-time All-American accolades, has clinched the Northeast-10 Conference championship an impressive 21 times, and is the first Bermudian to run under 4 minutes in a mile. His ultimate goal is to make the Olympics and to continue to improve so he can help put Bermuda on the map for runners.

With her line of island-inspired perfumes, Isabelle is the owner of the Bermuda Perfumery, also known as Lili Bermuda. She has captured and bottled the essence of ocean breezes, salt air and fresh botanicals for visitors to take home. Located in St George’s, she suggests trying the fresh catch at Wahoo’s Bistro & Patio and enjoying walking around the old town.

This Bermudian artist has painted beautiful murals around Bermuda and is inspired by the bright and vivid colours that surround her. She enjoys looking out at the hues of the water, the picturesque sunsets and watching the art scene in Bermuda continue to grow. Alshanté also hosts sip n' paint evenings to share her love of painting with the community.

With an impressive tenure spanning over 30 years, Ed is a legendary local icon offering a complimentary walking tour through the heart of Hamilton from Monday to Friday at 10:30 am (starting April 1).
