About Astwood Cove Beach & Astwood Park
See one of Bermuda's true hidden gems with a hike to Astwood Cove beach. Rugged cliffs surround this ultra-secluded patch of sand, with a steep, winding trail that connects it to Astwood Park atop the rocks. The walk down can be difficult, especially for young kids and the elderly, so use caution; once there, you'll discover a postcard-picture beach that you’ll have mostly to yourself. The park above offers great views, and is equipped with picnic tables, parking and bathrooms. Astwood Cove can be found just off South Road along the South Shore.

Weddings
For an outdoor wedding with jaw-dropping views, look no further than Astwood Park. The clifftop park has a large, grassy lawn for the ceremony and wedding party, with the azure Atlantic Ocean stretching out as far as the eye can see. Astwood Park is a public park, so reserving it for a wedding requires a permit from the Department of Parks. Book early, as the picturesque setting makes it a popular venue, especially in summer.
