About Fort Popple and Little Head Park
The 1700s-era Fort Popple (named after a former governor of Bermuda) is no longer accessible to the public, but the dramatic rocky shoreline, nature trails and panoramic ocean views make this coastal park a worthy stop. Perched on the tip of St. David’s Island on Bermuda’s East End, Little Head Park offers glimpses of long-abandoned military bunkers and other fort ruins along with sweeping views of island and ocean. Nearby, you can visit St. David’s Lighthouse and Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve.
