Phoenix Stores – The Phoenix Centre

The Phoenix Centre is the original and flagship store of The Phoenix Stores Ltd., a Bermuda drugstore chain with seven locations around the island. The Phoenix Centre, marked by its iconic clock on the sidewalk out front, sits on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton. It was established in 1902, when it became the first business on the island with electric lights. Although the pharmacy is a core service, The Phoenix Centre has grown into a multi-level department store with everything from beachwear and sunscreen to toys, books and souvenirs.
