The Loren Celebrity Chef Weekend Series - Chef Sarah Grueneberg & Belinda Chang

"Listen to your vegetables", says the James Beard Award-winning Chef, Sarah Grueneberg. Sarah's culinary approach of "following the food" and truly understanding "the dish" by knowing the people and culture that created it has guided her culinary journey. She is now the Chef and Partner of Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio in Chicago's West Loop and author of the book "Listen to Your Vegetables".  Grueneberg opened Monteverde in November 2015 and in 2017, she received the James Beard Award for "Best Chef: Great Lakes" and was a semifinalist for "Outstanding Chef" in the 2019 & 2020 awards and held a Michelin star for 3 years. Join The Loren for a cooking demo with cocktails on Friday, followed by a Venetian festival with wine pairing on the Disk on Saturday. Last but not least, come and enjoy Sunday brunch with a cocktail masterclass taught by Belinda Chang, the James Beard Award winning sommelier, writer, and restaurateur.
