The Birdcage

The Birdcage was created as the ultimate ode to Bermudian cocktail culture while honouring our local flavours, the environment and Bermuda’s unique history. We love and respect our island and draw inspiration from everything around us from fresh natural ingredients to our namesake landmark (just look out on Front Street!). The Birdcage was created in 1962 by Bermuda’s first city engineer, Geoffrey 'Dickie' Bird, who constructed “the cage” to protect policemen directing traffic. Like the Birdcage itself, we are interested in protecting nature and our people, keeping it simple, all while having a lot of fun with good vibes only. With that in mind, we welcome you to The Birdcage!
